My Thoughts!

Just Write

My Thoughts (Ugh)

I try my best to keep a clear head and positive thoughts but right now I just feel so low and alone. I feel like somethings will never I change, and I have to really accept that, and it is hard. Especially when you work your hardest to make things work out for the better. I just feel so lost right now and do not know what to do. This is so annoying the feeling of hopelessness. And at the moment I have to walk away from the BS it is not worth my peace. Sometimes people just drain you, ugh irritating and painful.

Guess I will try to do some writing and hopefully that will get my mind off things for a while. It is kind of hectic at the moment.

What do you do when you feel this way? Lost? Hopeless? What do you do…

  1. Unfortunately, many of us experience this feeling. I know I felt lost, helpless, and empty. Be kind to yourself. If you feel like you want to sleep, sleep. If you want to lay down, lay down. Give your self a few days. Take care of your most basic health. Eat, sleep, drink water and don’t worry about the rest for now. When you get stronger, then you can tackle what’s bringing sadness into your life. My therapist told me to view my depression as any other illness, like if you were to have cancer or even the basic cold. You have to be patient and allow your body to heal. Don’t feel guilty or bad that you’re experiencing these emotions, because you did not cause this. Find plenty of comedies to watch, so you can distract yourself a little bit. I find Family Reunion on Netflix is good and One on One on tv is good-just find any comedy. If you feel like your emotions are too much, seek out a therapist, and if you don’t want to do that- find someone you really trust… that won’t judge you and talk to them about your feelings and what’s going in your life, I promise you it feels better. If you need anyone to talk to, I’m here! This is cliche, but just know you will get better (your sad thoughts will start to decrease and you will begin to feel better). Don’t give up! ❤️

  2. If I can, I take a walk. That helps me open up my mental space, which puts those bad feelings farther away from me.

I also remind myself of my teachings, of what I have learned. This is not perfect, because I don’t have a book with a list “what to do if you feel ______ “… But my teachings tell me why this happens, and that helps me to understand it instead of just resist it. It’s not a good idea to resist these feelings, because that tends to just pull them in closer to you.

And if I feel really confused or ignorant, I study. I try to find out more about the problem or situation. Or I might ask someone to refer me to any data they are aware of.

I don’t watch any TV, so I have lots of time to do these things. If you do watch a lot of TV, that’s the first step: Turn it off!
