Storm winds fade to hush

 Broken skies release their light

Colors arc in peace

A promise stitched through the rain

Hope returning, soft and bright

And you stand there

Heart still damp from the downpour

Watching the sky stitches itself whole

And for a moment

you feel yourself

stitching with it

A rainbow rises

A quiet curve of color

Reminding you

That the light
