Loving someone who doesn’t love me

A painful truth that’s hard to see

My heart yearns for their affection

But it’s met with rejection.

I try to move on and let go

But my feelings continue to grow

The more I try to push away

The more I long for them to stay.

It’s a cycle that never ends

My heartache, it just extends

But I know I must be strong

And find a love that will belong.

For loving someone who can’t reciprocate

Is a heartbreak that I can’t tolerate.

No Way Out

Lost in a maze with no escape in sight,

Down and out, trapped in endless night

Madness creeping, clawing at my mind

No hope to find, no way to unwind.

Futile searching for a glimmer of light

But darkness reigns, an eternal blight

No path to follow, no guide to lead

Alone in my despair, consumed by need.

Trapped in a prison of my own device

No key to freedom, no chance to rise

Suffocating in a world of doubt

Seeing no way out, I scream and shout

A sight to behold, of that I am sure 

Soft and serene, like a summer breeze 

It dances in my heart and puts me at ease 

The world around me fades away 

When I see this beauty on display 

In every flower, every blade of grass 

I see the wonder of this world en masse 

From the mountains high to the oceans deep 

Radiant beauty is all we need to keep 

A gentle reminder of all that’s good 

In a world that can be misunderstood 

I am going to cherish this beauty so true 

And let it guide me in all that I do 

For in its gentle embrace, I can find 

A love and peace that’s genuinely divine

My pride, my pride, it shines so bright 
But sometimes, it gets in the way of my sight 
I hold my head up high, full of confidence and might 
But my ego can blind me from what’s right 

I push and I strive, always reaching for the top 
But my pride can make me stumble and flop 
It’s hard to admit when I’m wrong or need help 
But to truly succeed, my ego must be kept in check 

I’ll swallow my pride and let humility take the lead 
In the long run, it’s the only way to succeed 
So I’ll take a step back and learn to compromise 
And let my pride take a back seat, for it’s time to be wise 

My pride, my pride, it’s a part of who I am 
But I won’t let it hold me back, for that’s not the plan 
I’ll use it to push forward but with grace and humility 
With a healthy balance, success will come.

A woman of many faces, a dreamer, a lover, a warrior
A true lioness, fierce and strong in her ways

In her dreams, she roams free
A wild spirit, untamed and untethered
Following her heart without hesitation
Exploring the depths of her imagination

As a lover, she is tender and kind
Her heart overflowing with passion and desire
She gives herself freely to those who worthy of her love
And cherishes the moments that they share

But do not mistake her gentle nature
For within her beats the heart of a warrior
A fierce defender of all that she holds dear
She will fight to protect, with no hint of fear

She is a true lioness, a force to be reckoned with
Her spirit unbreakable, her will unyielding
A woman of many faces, a dreamer, a lover, a warrior
A true inspiration to all who cross her path.
