To be successful in life, I must strive 

To reach my goals and keep them alive 

My dreams are my fuel, my guiding light 

That keeps me going, day and night 

I set my sights on a lofty goal 

And do my best to achieve it whole 

I work hard and stay focused each day 

And stay the course, come what may 

Obstacles will come, I know 

But I will not let them bring me low 

I will rise above, I will persevere 

And keep pushing forward, year after year 

When I reach the summit at last 

And gaze upon the view so vast 

I will know that all my hard work paid off 

And that my success was not just a mere scoff 

I will keep striving, keep pushing ahead 

And never let my dreams remain unsaid 

For success is within my reach, I know
