In the early morning light 
I rise before the sun 
Determined to reach my goals 
Before the day is done 

I work with all my might 
Putting in the hours 
Focused on my future 
And all its promised powers 

For I know that success 
Is not just handed out 
But earned through hard work 
And never giving doubt
