In the stillness of my mind 

A spark ignites a flame to find 

The world around me fades away 

As I lose myself in creative play 

With pen in hand and heart ablaze 

I craft a world that’s all my own 

Characters dance, and stories unfold 

As my imagination takes me home 

Designing and creating it’s all a thrill 

A passion that my heart can’t still 

To be an author, my greatest dream 

To share my stories, make them gleam 

Love is what drives me to create 

To bring my visions to life and relate 

With every word, every stroke of the pen 

I find myself again and again 

Let me write. Let me design 

Let me create. Let me shine 

For in these moments, I am free 

And that’s where I’m meant to be!

In this world of modernity and haste 

I am an old-school soul with grace and taste 

My heart beats to the rhythm of Motown 

And my spirit soars to the sound of jazz blown 

My soulful nature brings me joy and delight 

As I dance to the beat with all my might 

With every step, I feel the music’s power 

And I am transported to a magical hour 

In a world that sometimes seems cold and gray 

I find warmth and comfort in the old soul way 

With melodies that move my heart and soul 

I find happiness that makes me feel whole 

Let the modern world keep spinning fast 

I’ll stay true to my old-school soul at last 

With every note and every beat 

My soulful joy will always be complete
