One day, maybe sooner maybe later down the line

One day it will happen

What you prayed for

What you dreamed of

One day

Your life will change

For the better

Have all you want

One day

Just take it easy

Do what you must

One day

Success will be yours to claim

One day

You got to have faith

One day

Your smile will be huge

One day

You will be on top

One day one step at a time

One day

You will shine

In time

Be patient

I am but a distant star

Inaccessible from afar

My light may shine bright and true

But reaching me is nothing new

My heart may beat within my chest

But to touch it, you must attest

That you are willing to traverse

The obstacles that I have dispersed

For I am not a simple path

But a journey that requires some math

You must calculate the steps it takes

To reach me, for my heart’s sake

So, if you’re willing to take the time

To climb the mountain, I have designed

Then you may find that I’m not so far

And my light may shine upon your star

The days run hard and I get pulled along

My body tired even though I keep holding strong

But even fire can’t keep burning for so long

Without a pause to soften back the light

I step out and let quiet touch my chest

Let stillness hum where noise had filled the air

I learned that slowing down is simply rest

A small reset

A moment made for self-care

No guilt belongs to slowing down my pace

I rise steadier when I choose to stop the chaotic race

A break becomes my calm

A break becomes the space where soft winds grow

Self-care is needed, to show my glow

…..The importance of taking a break when needed. Indeed Self-Care!!!!

Question what that person is really about

It is not love

Love should be a good feeling

There will be good and not so good times

Not always chaotic

If it is not love

They DON’T get your love……..
