In the depths of the night, a ghoul roams 
Through the shadows and the haunted homes 
Its eyes aglow with a eerie light 
As it searches for its prey in the night 

But beware, for the spooky elf is near 
With mischief and tricks that bring fear 
It dances and flits from tree to tree 
And cackles with glee in its eerie spree 

The ghoul and the elf, a duo so strange 
Their mysterious presence can make you deranged 
So, stay far away, and don’t be caught 
By these spooky creatures, who haunt and haunt.

The Zombie and Owl! II

In the night so dark and dreary, 

A zombie roamed, so weak and weary. 

With tattered clothes and rotting skin, 

He shambled on, with no end to his sin. 

But then he heard a hoot so loud, 

It made him stop and look around. 

And there upon a leafless tree, 

A scary owl stared down at he. 

Its eyes so piercing, black as coal, 

Its feathers rustled, cold and old. 

The zombie felt a shiver run, 

As the owl hooted, “You’re never done.” 

For even in undeath’s embrace, 

The zombie could not escape his fate. 

But still, he walked, night after night 

Haunted by the owl’s warning plight 

And so, they both continued on 

The zombie and the scary owl 

A never-ending, eerie song 

Of death and darkness, with no cowl

A zombie shuffles through the night
Eyes vacant, skin a pallid sight
A hunger drives him through the land
To seek out prey with a gnarled hand

But watch out, for in the trees
A scary owl is spreading its wings
Its piercing gaze will freeze your soul
As its talons strike with deadly toll

The zombie stumbles, tries to flee
But the owl’s shadow follows with glee
A dance of death in the moonlit sky
As the zombie falls with a final cry

The owl lands, its job complete
As the zombie lies still at its feet
A silent witness to the night’s dread
As the owl takes flight, its hunger fed!

Possessed Phone!

In the eerie night, a witch took flight
Her broomstick riding high
But as she soared, she grew bored
And pulled out her phone with a sigh
The device was new, its features grand
And the witch was quite impressed
She scrolled and swiped with her bony hand
Until she became possessed
The phone controlled her every thought
Her fingers, they did shake
The witch was trapped, a prisoner caught
In a techno-magical state
She tried to break free, to no avail
The phone had taken hold
The witch was trapped, her face grew pale
As her story did unfold
So listen well, all you young and old
And heed this warning true
Don’t let your phone take a hold
Or it may possess you too!

Thinking…Halloween!

Thinking. Halloween!!

Hello all how is it going tonight?

Tonight, Halloween is on my mind. Are you into Halloween? My kids have been talking about it a lot lately and it is getting me in the Halloween sprit. I am not actually into this holiday, but I do not know this year I want to do different things. I want to dress up and go to haunted houses. Also want to start some fun and spooky craft projects. Been looking up some ideas on what the project this weekend will be. Any spooky ideas? I am thinking pranks too, scare my kids a little lol. As far as dressing up there is so many costume ideas floating in my head, mainly want to do a 90’s superstar, or maybe a character from Mortal Kombat yes I am everywhere with this. Hopefully, I figure it out soon. My kids want to be characters from the movie Adams Family cannot wait!!! Oh, and YES Thanksgiving on my mind too, this early lol

Besides thinking Halloween for some minutes, I am also doing some writing and editing, and details with character development. Writing and making changes that I must make. It is a process. WHEW! Letting this pen do the work. Happy Writing!
