Poetry Book!!

Hello everyone, how’s the night and weekend treating you?

Tonight, I am working on my poetry book. I finally came up with a title for my book. It should have been done by now, but I had to change some things. Also decided to add to it. Hopefully, one more week or less, and it would be ready to publish. So excited it would be my second book published. I still have to edit it and design a book cover. So, for the rest of this weekend that is what I will be working on. Going to stay busy until it is finished.

Going to be writing a few more poems and doing some formatting. It is such a busy weekend. Hard work is at hand. Always focused.

My Passion!!

Happy Saturday!

Working on my craft all the time, practice makes perfect. Writing is my passion and pushing myself daily to write and finish a book, also writing poems, and my thoughts.

I have a couple books going but going to slow it down a bit to get one finished. I have been setting daily goals to help with this book. I want to put good work out there, so I am taking my time with it, making sure its good material. It has been a while but I am slowly getting back into my craft. I know that I have to keep going and make sure I do what I love and that is writing. Just Write!

 I am so ready for this it has been a long time coming and I feel like it is time to get this rolling.  Get my name out there. I am ready!

It is my dream.

Writing and Editing!

Writing and Editing Night!!

Hello, my fellow writers/bloggers how is it going tonight? Me?

My night consists of editing as well as writing. I have been working on this book for almost 9 months and I still do not have a title for my book but still letting the pen flow. The editing part was giving me a headache, but I like to always go back to some chapters to make changes and to make sure the story flows together. After a 2-hour edit session (times fly when you are busy working) I feel good about what I have so far. Take a little break maybe a joint and some wine lol then it is back to writing. I am also working on character development so it is a busy night, but I do not mind it.

After all, writing is my passion and I love it when ideas and writing come together for me. Enjoying this night. Happy writing! Blessings!

Just Write IIII

It is a writing night. Ideas are flowing well, and I am feeling confident in my work, it has been a while since feeling this way. My kids are not home this weekend, (Yayyyy, LOL) so I plan to get a lot done with little to no excuses. I got my music going and I am in a zone I must say. Crazy how I was stuck for 2 months on one chapter. But I have it figured out and I am going with what I have and moving on. Hopefully, by Sunday night I have a few more chapters done.

It is a cool night for me. Just writing and chilling enjoying my time alone because I do not get that often, so I am trying to get some writing done and be at peace. Also, this weekend I will be finishing a book I started reading. A book by J.D. Mason called Crazy, Sexy, Revenge, it is a series The Gatewood Family, and I am on book three so cannot wait to finish it, books one and two were good and had me on edge. So that is my night and weekend plans. And of course, writing for my blog also. Again, and yes, I say it a lot but yes writing is my passion! Hope you all have a good one. Just write and be you!

Chill Saturday

Chill Saturday!!

 Hello everybody how is your Saturday? How is your Saturday night going? Tonight, I am vibing, I have my music going and I am writing out ideas, and tittles for my book. Tonight, is a brainstorming night. I have been writing poems most of the day and now it is time to focus on my book. Tomorrow I will be editing and will be do more writing for my book. I have some book goals I am reaching towards as well as pushing myself daily to keep writing and let my creativity show.

Even though I feel like I do too much at one time, I am determined to get one or both books done. I tell myself to keep going and to have faith. So again, this night is brainstorming and me jamming to music. I have too many ideas and have to write them out and make some decisions.

I write because it is my passion and I write to unwind and that is when the creative me comes out. What do you like to do for fun? What is your go-to hobby? Do you enjoy writing? Have a goodnight might share a poem or two if I get around to it.
