A guiding light on any course

In the face of trials, it stands

Strength and courage are in our hands

Through the darkest night it shines

A beacon of hope, it aligns

When doubt tries to take its toll

Determination fuels the soul.

With every step it whispers, “go,”

And in our hearts we feel it grow

In moments of fear, it stays strong

A quiet resolve where we belong

Determination is a loyal guide

With its power, we stride wide

I have dreams that soar up high 

And goals that seem to touch the sky 

With ambition as my guiding light

My goals are like a map, guiding me ahead 

With each step taken, I move closer to my dream’s bed

Welcome August! Fresh month and a fresh start. New monthly goals are in play. This month is exciting for me. Last year in August, I published two books, and I will publish one this month. I am so grateful and looking forward to what the month can bring. I have new goals I am working on and new projects I will be starting. Get It Done!

August is also my birthday month, so that is exciting as well. Happy August, people.

Last Day of July!

This month has been crazy; honestly kind of pissed that I did not meet all my goals for this month. Been feeling out of sorts and still thankful for what the month has brought. I finally finished the rough draft for Anything For The Take II, so that was great. Still working on the book cover and editing.

 I am excited and looking forward to next month, to new beginnings, and, of course, to new goals to work towards. How has this month been for you all? Good? Bad? Meh? Or are you just not feeling it at all?

Happy that I will be publishing two books in August. Again, ready for the new month!

I am praying for better days and still trying to remain positive through it all.

Edit Night..

What a night

So, it is a writing and editing night and I already had a migraine when I started but wanted to get some work done, and this editing is making it worse LOL. Editing can be a pain sometimes, but it must be done. I feel like pulling out my hair. Yeah, it’s time for bed. I was going to do some poetry tonight, but I am too tired and a little emotional, so I will call it a night, take a nice hot shower, and hopefully find a good movie and hit the bed. Glad that I did get some stuff done and out of the way and I will continue tomorrow, hopefully, I will be in a better mood.

I still have a goal that I must reach for writing, and I am on it. This night is not going to keep me down. I hate having migraines; they seem to take over, and it is annoying. I hope you had a good day and have a good night. Keep working on your goals and dreams, and have faith.

That is it, for now, my face hurts. BEDTIME!!
