My dear friend, let me tell you of a trait so fine 
Consistency is what sets me apart. It’s truly mine 

Diligence is my motto I never back down 
No matter what life throws at me, I stand my ground 

I wake up early to seize the day 
I work hard and never stray 

My goals are set, I know what I want 
I follow my dreams with every breath and grunt 

Consistent in my efforts, I never give in 
I’ll climb every mountain until I win 

Through thick and thin, I’ll keep pushing on 
For I am consistent, and my diligence is vital 

So if you want to succeed, take a page from my book 
Stay focused, stay driven, and never overlook 

The power of consistency, the strength of diligence 
For they are the keys to a life of richness

Leaving me to ponder and to sway 

So I must learn to guard this precious gift

I am a fortress, strong and tall 

Yet within me lies an empty hall 

I keep my emotions locked away 

Afraid to feel what they might say 

I tell myself that I am fine 

That love and pain are not worth the time 

But deep down, I know it’s not true 

For the ache inside just continues to brew 

I push away those who come too close 

And keep my heart tightly closed 

But sometimes in the dead of night 

I wonder if I’m doing this right 

Is it better to be alone and secure 

Or to risk it all and hope for more? 

I am emotionally unavailable, it’s true
