The most expensive personal item I have ever purchased for myself is my PlayStation 4, which I bought a few years back. I bought the PlayStation 4 because I love video games and want to use them to escape life sometimes. Though I have had it for years, it still serves a purpose, and I still play on it like it is brand new. It has been a great help over the years. I also love the games that I play on it. Great fun, and I’m glad that I still have it. Some more are my touchscreen computer and me publishing my books

In the depths of the night, a ghoul roams 
Through the shadows and the haunted homes 
Its eyes aglow with a eerie light 
As it searches for its prey in the night 

But beware, for the spooky elf is near 
With mischief and tricks that bring fear 
It dances and flits from tree to tree 
And cackles with glee in its eerie spree 

The ghoul and the elf, a duo so strange 
Their mysterious presence can make you deranged 
So, stay far away, and don’t be caught 
By these spooky creatures, who haunt and haunt.

Write about your approach to budgeting.

Write about your approach to budgeting.

I am not that good at budgeting money. It is something I need to work on.  Sometimes I can be reckless with spending money, especially with stuff for my kids. There are times when I try to keep a budget and keep up with all my spending, but it never goes well. I don’t know why but I need to change that. Trying to save to buy a house so some of my spending habits have to stop.

So, no approach here really just goes with the flow. Do you budget out everything?  Any tips?

Loving The Wrong Person

Hello, my blog peeps!

Have you been in a situation where you felt it was all bad, so negative? Have you loved the wrong person before?

Loving the wrong person and being in love by yourself is disturbing and not good at all. Even when you see the signs and know that you should walk away, you love so hard, give your all and the other person does not care at all. But here you are still trying. Loving the wrong person will hurt you to your core. Being everything to them while hurting yourself, along with your mental and rational thinking out the door. It will have you questioning yourself all the time. Wondering if you are good enough. But of course, when you love someone, you will try your hardest to make it work and go the distance. You feel like you shouldn’t give up on them. Loving the wrong person can take away your smile and maybe lower your self-esteem; loving the wrong person can take a lot of you. You might feel like you will never love again. You are scared that it will happen again.

I feel I can speak on this subject somewhat because I have been there and was left feeling lost and hurt. I was in so much pain because I thought it was forever with this person (Silly Me). A reason why I am so guarded now. That feeling of being scared to fall in love again. I was loving the wrong damn person, and it had cost me. Yes, I am still healing from it and learning to deal with the issues and be okay no matter what. Loving the wrong person is so damn draining. Please, people, pay attention to those red flags that arrive; do not ignore them. Always talk about it to get an understanding. Loving the wrong person made me more aware, cautious, guarded, and distant. Though with all of that I do wish to love again and find someone special. Where I am for them, and they are for me.

If I won two tickets to go anywhere, I would want to go to Jamaica or Paris.

I have wanted to go to those places since I was a kid. I think visiting them would be so much fun and an educational experience. It would be fabulous to learn about culture, people, food, music, and different traditions. There are also some places in Africa!

It would be hard to choose who to go with. I only have two tickets, but those are my answers.

Which activities make you lose track of time?

There are a few activities that I partake in that make me lose track of time. One thing that makes me lose track of things the most is writing. I can write for hours in my own little world and be happy. The next would be reading, especially if it is a really good book. I am so into it and lose track that way. Time spent with my kids or family just talking, cooking, and game nights are fun; I definitely lose track of time. The last thing I would say is that me playing my video games. I will be all into it, not worrying about anything.

I love having those activities that I can get lost in. Sometimes, this is a good thing; sometimes, it’s not when other things need to be done.

I like to be busy often, so I don’t mind it.

I have many favorites, including cards, board games, and video games. My favorite card games are Spades, Gin Rummy, I Declare War, and Speed.

My favorite board games are Candyland, Monopoly, Jeopardy Mancala, Checkers, and Trouble. I have loved these games since childhood because they are fun to play.

My favorite video games are just like board games. I like Jeopardy and Monopoly on my PS4. I also love Madden, Mortal Kombat, Tetris, and some poker games. I love games; they are a great way to pass the time.

Yes, I know it’s more than one favorite. But had to list my most favorites.

A Break!

Do you need a break? From what?

Do I need a break? And what from? I like this question. I feel that I need a good long break from work and writing lately. I have been working a lot for the last couple of months, picking up extra shifts. I have also been sticking to a writing schedule, plus, of course, home life and taking care of everything. I am a busybody and sometimes don’t get enough rest. It would be nice to be alone for a weekend or maybe a week and just decompress.

I feel everyone deserves to step back from life for a while and take a break. Clear your mind, heart, and soul. Focus on your mental health. Just sit back with a good book in a nice location. Or being in your dream country or state. Maybe on the beach relaxing and enjoying your peace. Sounds so lovely! I have been thinking about stepping back for a while (Not too long) just to give my mind a break. Indeed, it has been hectic. Detox my mind, spirit, and body. Let go of all the negative; let go of what you cannot change.

Taking a break from the stresses of your life is okay. It’s best to work with a clear head and not worry about too much workload. Taking time for yourself is important. Self-care and Self-Love bring happiness.

A Spark!

A spark I feel through my mind and soul. A spark that craves my attention. Spark lit that gives life. A spark I feel through my hands that guides me to write. A spark to share my stories. A spark I feel to be creative. A great spark to get the ideas flowing and before I know it, I am writing away, in a zone. A spark to make it come alive, a spark to the pen and paper. a spark that speaks volumes inside of me, to inspire.  The spark lit under me to keep me going this spark that helps with my passion for writing.
