Books! Poetry!
Hello all
Sitting here thinking bout publishing my own poetry books and other books I have in the works. Love poetry and writing it on all types of topics and ready to write a poetry book. Honestly, I do not know where to start, I have some poems that I want in the book, but no title yet and it is something I have been brainstorming on for days.
So, no title, no cover designs, layout, and of course no idea on how to go about self-publishing it. So going to do some major research and see where that leads me. Want to get this poetry book out then continue to work on my other books and get those published as well.
My night consists of a lot of thinking, some research and of course writing. Trying to figure it all out and move forward with all my projects. Got so much going on right now. Whew BREATHE. I will get it done make things happen do the work that is necessary. Nervous about it but I got this. HELP LOL

My Night
Hello hope everyone day way cool, wish I can say mine was but unfortunately not. Some pain put me on pause today tried to get some work done. Did not finish what I wanted but happy to say I did make a little progress even with pain. That was midday and then had to get right back in bed, probably was doing too much. Rest is needed and it has been a long day. Hopefully, I am better tomorrow and would be able to share some thoughts or poetry.

My Friday night.
Tonight, I feel like I am in the zone after my crafting search and movie night I am writing the rest of the night till I am tired. I have some good ideas that I need to let out. It is best that I get it out on paper. I love when I can concentrate and get some writing goals completed. tonight, the goal is to reach chapters 12-115 hopefully. I am also working on my characters development template to help with the chapters. I know this is a short post, but time is ticking, and got to get to this writing. What are your plans for the night?

Hello everyone, how’s the night and weekend treating you?
Tonight, I am working on my poetry book. I finally came up with a title for my book. It should have been done by now, but I had to change some things. Also decided to add to it. Hopefully, one more week or less, and it would be ready to publish. So excited it would be my second book published. I still have to edit it and design a book cover. So, for the rest of this weekend that is what I will be working on. Going to stay busy until it is finished.
Going to be writing a few more poems and doing some formatting. It is such a busy weekend. Hard work is at hand. Always focused.

Working on my craft all the time, practice makes perfect. Writing is my passion and pushing myself daily to write and finish a book, also writing poems, and my thoughts.
I have a couple books going but going to slow it down a bit to get one finished. I have been setting daily goals to help with this book. I want to put good work out there, so I am taking my time with it, making sure its good material. It has been a while but I am slowly getting back into my craft. I know that I have to keep going and make sure I do what I love and that is writing. Just Write!
I am so ready for this it has been a long time coming and I feel like it is time to get this rolling. Get my name out there. I am ready!

So tonight, I am excited. I have finished the rough draft of my first book. It has been a rough few months, but I made it happen. Started working on it 10 months ago. My passion and was dedicated to the process and continuing on. Wow, I am really done with it, well still must edit. Wanted to share the good news here on my blog. I don’t know if I should be this excited. There are still ways to go. For the rest of the week I will be done with edits and working on book covers. For the rest of the night, I am relaxing and mentally prepared myself for the next steps. Also, will be finishing up my poetry book soon. I am in a zone and the pen flowing. I love it. Again, want to give thanks to those who gave encouraging words and helped me on this writing journey of mine.
Hopefully, editing will be done by this weekend. I have 18 chapters to go through so I know I will be busy with work, and this. I got this I am ready! My grandma and mom would be proud. I also have good and new ideas for my blog, so I am excited about everything. Happy night for me! Okay, do not want to keep rambling…

Thinking always lol and what is on my mind, really been on my mind is success and making money. Making my family happy. Failure is not an option, my feelings today. Just taking it a day at a time, getting stuff done of course me Ms. Perfect, I’m focused.

Why is it that fear seems to be a reason that holds us back? Well, some people including me. Is it the fear of the unknown that makes us pause and put on hold what we really want to do? Is it the fear of rejection? The fear of taking risks. The fear of not being good enough? Fear can bring a lot to a halt.
For me, it is the fear of the unknown. I tend to shut down because I don’t know what is to come. That is why it has been taking a while with my book. I know I am good at writing and have a creative imagination and good ideas. I question everything and think of the what if’s, what if it is not good enough, what if people don’t like what I put out. Questions swimming around in my head and sometimes the fear to continue the projects I have going. Fear to put my work out and fear to fully put myself out there and do what is necessary. The fear to take the risks to get out of my comfort zone. Anyone else had or have this problem? Though there is fear within me I am still trying to overcome it. I tell myself that I must change a lot and be willing to do different things that I normally don’t do. I do feel like it is fear that is holding me back. Writing for this blog sometimes comes easy and I just write and just do. I have two books that I am working on still been a year and need to get them done and published. Want to get over the fear of being rejected and the fear of the unknown. Also, get rid of the overthinking too. Want to get rid of my fear of publishing my books and my fear of driving. I know crazy that I love to write but am scared to put some of my work out in the world. SMH. I know I have to have faith and pray the fears away.
Fears make you stop and not want to do anything. Fear has a way of getting in the way of life. Some people stay living in fear and don’t know how to get out of it. Fear can tear you down if you can’t overcome it. Being afraid can ruin your life.
Again, it can hold some back. And I don’t like that I have a little fear, but it is my life and I own it and trying to change it.
