Fields of green, we ride side by side 

With the wind in our hair, our hearts open wide 

Together we journey no destination in mind 

Just enjoying the moment, leaving worries behind 

Our laughter harmonizes with the song of the breeze 

As we explore the world at our own pace with ease 

In sync with the rhythm of our beating hearts 

We find solace in each other, never wanting to part 

With you by my side, every moment feels right 

Riding and vibing together, basking in love’s light 

In this shared adventure, our souls intertwine 

Forever connected, in this moment divine

The Butterfly!

The butterfly is one of the most beautiful animals/insects that is one of my favorites. I love butterflies because it represent life. The transitions you make in life can be compared to the stage of life of the butterfly (my opinion). Been in love with them since I was a child, their beauty, different colors everything. I also love them because they represent me in a way, I am always transforming/evolving into a better version of myself. Changing everything around me. I am also learning to put myself out there set myself free, spread my wings, and fulfilling my dreams. I am a work in progress and learning along the way. I think I am special just like the butterfly. Beautiful like the butterfly, creative and free. Yeah, I think it represents me great. I even collect things with butterflies. Do you have an animal that you feel represents you? Or is it just me?

Road Trip! 

The last memorable road trip I took was back in 2021 with my mom, Sister, my brothers, and our kids. We drove to Kansas City Missouri. It is memorable as it was the last trip I had with my mom, and I also got to see family that I hadn’t seen since I was a teenager. It was nice to see them and spend time with them and my mom. The only thing is I didn’t take a lot of pictures and that’s kind of sad when I think about it. It was all about family and barbecue. It was an emotional trip because my mom’s family had to say their goodbyes to her, and it was hard I think about it a lot and was happy that my mom saw them before she passed a few weeks after the trip. Overall, the trip was fun and very memorable!

A sanctuary of solitude, my introverted room 

While others seek the spotlight’s glow 

I thrive in shadows, where whispers flow 

Observing, listening, a silent tableau 

Embracing the stillness, I am not alone 

In my world, quiet is my throne 

An introvert’s haven, a place to call my own

When there is a power struggle between what your mind tells you and how your heart feel. Sometimes it is hard to make choice because of the conflict between the two.

Some people will say always go with you mind. They say if your mind is constantly telling you should then follow your mind.

Then some people say you should follow your heart. How you feel inside will never steer you wrong go with the feelings of the heart.

Then it is the back and forth of making the right choice.

My Pride!

My pride, my pride, it shines so bright 
But sometimes, it gets in the way of my sight 
I hold my head up high, full of confidence and might 
But my ego can blind me from what’s right 

I push and I strive, always reaching for the top 
But my pride can make me stumble and flop 
It’s hard to admit when I’m wrong or need help 
But to truly succeed, my ego must be kept in check 

I’ll swallow my pride and let humility take the lead 
In the long run, it’s the only way to succeed 
So I’ll take a step back and learn to compromise 
And let my pride take a back seat, for it’s time to be wise 

My pride, my pride, it’s a part of who I am 
But I won’t let it hold me back, for that’s not the plan 
I’ll use it to push forward but with grace and humility 
With a healthy balance, success will come.
