The Butterfly!

The butterfly is one of the most beautiful animals/insects that is one of my favorites. I love butterflies because it represent life. The transitions you make in life can be compared to the stage of life of the butterfly (my opinion). Been in love with them since I was a child, their beauty, different colors everything. I also love them because they represent me in a way, I am always transforming/evolving into a better version of myself. Changing everything around me. I am also learning to put myself out there set myself free, spread my wings, and fulfilling my dreams. I am a work in progress and learning along the way. I think I am special just like the butterfly. Beautiful like the butterfly, creative and free. Yeah, I think it represents me great. I even collect things with butterflies. Do you have an animal that you feel represents you? Or is it just me?

Purple Cyclamen

In the garden, a purple cyclamen blooms 

Its petals are delicate like soft whispers in the room 

With hues of lavender and deep violet grace 

It dances in the wind, a vision to embrace 

Underneath the moon’s gentle glow 

The cyclamen’s beauty continues to grow 

A symbol of grace and elegance so rare 

In its presence, one cannot help but stare 

Oh, purple cyclamen, in your splendor divine 

Your essence forever in our hearts will shine 

Nature’s gift, a remarkable sight 

A treasure of purple, a story untold

Oh, my fun, chaotic kids

You bring me so much joy and happiness

You make life so full and bright

Your antics keep me up at night

You are so full of energy and life

Causing me laughter and some strife

You never cease to amaze me

Filling me with pride, so proud to be

Your Chaos is something to behold

But your joy and love I can never scold

You are my pride and joy, my world

You make my heart forever swirl

You bring me laughter so bright

Though some days can be a sight

Your personalities are so unique

You are fun and chaotic; I am so complete.

Road Trip! 

The last memorable road trip I took was back in 2021 with my mom, Sister, my brothers, and our kids. We drove to Kansas City Missouri. It is memorable as it was the last trip I had with my mom, and I also got to see family that I hadn’t seen since I was a teenager. It was nice to see them and spend time with them and my mom. The only thing is I didn’t take a lot of pictures and that’s kind of sad when I think about it. It was all about family and barbecue. It was an emotional trip because my mom’s family had to say their goodbyes to her, and it was hard I think about it a lot and was happy that my mom saw them before she passed a few weeks after the trip. Overall, the trip was fun and very memorable!

When there is a power struggle between what your mind tells you and how your heart feel. Sometimes it is hard to make choice because of the conflict between the two.

Some people will say always go with you mind. They say if your mind is constantly telling you should then follow your mind.

Then some people say you should follow your heart. How you feel inside will never steer you wrong go with the feelings of the heart.

Then it is the back and forth of making the right choice.

Grateful

Just had to take a moment and think of everything that I am grateful for. Though the last few months I have been very busy, I am proud of myself. Grateful that I have the strength to get through those not-so-good days and push through with my writing. Got so much done with my book and I am grateful for that too. Grateful to those who have been patient and understanding with me. It has been rough, but I am still striving to work on my dreams. So grateful and thankful for my family. My two kids are my biggest supporters, and their love and support are everything to me. I will continue to have faith and keep on working on myself. I am grateful I have made it this far. At the beginning of doing this blog and writing a book, I was always self-doubting. So again, I say I am proud of myself. Grateful for it all. Shoutout to those who supported me on here and took the time to read my blog. I appreciate it.

In fields of green and skies so blue

Where gentle breezes softly blew

Two lovers met with tender grace

And gentleness shone on their face!

With gentle kisses and caress

Their love did sweetly manifest

Each touch so tender and so kind

A love that’s gentle, pure, and blind

In this pastoral scene so fair

Their love did blossom without care

For in their hearts, they knew the truth

That gentleness is love’s sweetest fruit!
