Cozy Night!

In the dim light of a cozy room 

I sit alone, wrapped in a blanket 

Sipping on a cocktail by candlelight 

The air is still, the night is quiet 

As I ponder on life’s endless riot 

The crackling fire casts shadows on the wall 

And I can’t help but think of it all 

The happiness and sorrows, the ups and downs 

The laughter and tears, the smiles and frowns 

But on this lonely night, I find solace 

In the peace and quiet, in the stillness of this place 

I breathe in deeply and let it all go 

And in this moment, I feel my heart glow 

In this quiet, cozy space 

I find the beauty in life’s endless race 

Though I may be alone tonight 

I know that everything will be all right!

Raindrops tap against my window pane, 

A symphony of nature’s refrain 

The morning’s grey, but I don’t mind 

For I have coffee and peace of mind 

The aroma of my brew fills the air 

A comfort in the damp and drear 

My pen glides across the page 

Capturing thoughts, a written stage 

The pitter-patter of the rain 

A background for my creative brain 

Emotions flow, words take flight 

Good vibes envelop me, all is right 

This Saturday morning, a gift to me 

A chance to write, to be free 

Rain or shine, it matters not 

For creativity cannot be bought 

So, let the rain pour and the coffee flow 

I’ll write my heart out, I’ll go with the flow 

This moment, this morning, a memory to keep 

Of good vibes, writing, and a peaceful mind!

It is what they want

Or

Take your life back

Stand up

Hold it in

No LONGER

Keep it inside

I Will NOT

Secrets

They will sometimes hold you back

Holding it in

Keeping it inside

But

Sometimes

Secrets become known

Trauma’s

In the depths of my mind, lies a pain so deep 
A childhood trauma that I struggle to keep 
It haunts me every moment, every day and night 
A constant reminder of a time that wasn’t right 

I was once a child, so innocent and pure 
But the world around me was harsh and obscure 
My childhood was stolen, my memories erased 
Left with scars that time could never erase 

But I refuse to let my past define me 
I’ll fight with all my strength, till I am free 
I’ll rise above the pain, the hurt, and the fear 
And find the light that shines so clear 

I’ll take back my life, one step at a time 
And leave the shadows of my past behind 
I’ll be the hero of my own epic tale 
And conquer the demons that once made me frail 

For I am stronger than the pain I bear 
And with each passing day, I’ll show I care 
I’ll break free from the chains of my past 
And find the peace that will forever last.

Hello, my blog peeps! 

Today is a chill day Tuesday. No work for me today. My kids are still not home so it is another relaxing day for me. Today I am journaling getting some of my thoughts out on paper. Afterward, I want to watch some food competition shows while stuffing my face lol. I might write poetry later. For now, I’m good just writing in my notebook about life. I plan to have a positive day and just enjoy the quietness.

All I want! For Christmas

All I want for Christmas is a vacation. A nice long vacation

Me, my notebook, and pen

No phone, no kids, no screaming and yelling, No interruptions

All I want for Christmas is to be alone and relax

Some wine, good music, a nice scenery is all I want

Writing and enjoying my alone time. I just want peace and quiet

All I want for Christmas is my sanity. Do not get me wrong I love my life, kids, and family, but just want to unwind for a couple of days

Me music, writing, and get some much-needed rest sounds great

A nice man would be great too LOL (JK)

Being on a beach would be ideal, but yall know what is going on.

Yes, I do try to get in some play time during my daily life. Sometimes I like to go to the arcade and play games. Sometimes I feel like a big kid while enjoying time with my kids. Taking my kids to the park or going on a walk is good downtime. Family fun days with games and snacks. There are times when I like to play my PlayStation 4 to keep my mind off things. It is good to add in playtime/fun into your day. Let off some stress and let your hair down. Also, dancing and music are playtime to me as I can get lost in it.

Football Girl

There once was a girl who loved football 
Her team loyalty, she did not cull 
With the NFL on the screen 
She was living her dream 
Having fun and feeling those chill vibes in full 

She’d cheer for her team with great pride 
Her passion for the game could not hide 
Her love for football 
Was infectious to all 
And with her, others would soon abide 

On game day, she’d gather with friends 
Their excitement, she’d always extend 
With snacks and drinks in tow 
They’d watch the game’s flow 
And celebrate each touchdown in the end 

If you’re a football girl at heart 
Don’t be afraid to let out a shout or a fart 
Embrace your love for the game 
And let it ignite a flame 
Of fun and chill vibes that never depart
