A story they can always share

A gentle sound that can’t be beat.

A twirl of the feet, a turn of the head

A vision of beauty, all are led

A lively tune, a graceful sway

A harmony of music and play.

A harmony of all the senses

The sight and sound of such intense

A ringing in the ears and soul

An uplifting feeling that takes control.

A sweet sensation, a lively show

A union of music and dance, we all know

A story that can never be told

A harmony of body and soul.

I am but a distant star

Inaccessible from afar

My light may shine bright and true

But reaching me is nothing new

My heart may beat within my chest

But to touch it, you must attest

That you are willing to traverse

The obstacles that I have dispersed

For I am not a simple path

But a journey that requires some math

You must calculate the steps it takes

To reach me, for my heart’s sake

So, if you’re willing to take the time

To climb the mountain, I have designed

Then you may find that I’m not so far

And my light may shine upon your star

And I don’t know which path to take 

I close my eyes and clear my mind 

And my intuition starts to wake 

It whispers softly in my ear 

Guiding me towards what is right 

Urging me to trust my gut 

And to have faith in my own sight 

Although others may have opinions 

And try to sway me with their voice 

I know that deep down inside 

I have the power to make the choice 

I listen to my instincts 

I follow where they lead 

Trusting that they’ll keep me safe 

And fulfill my every need 

And even if I stumble 

Or if I make a mistake 

I know that I can trust myself 

To learn and grow with each step I take 

Here’s to trusting my instincts 

Having faith in my own heart 

When I listen to my inner voice 

I can conquer any challenge or chart

Through fields of flowers, we gently tread

A spark I feel through my mind and soul. A spark that craves my attention. Spark lit that gives life. A spark I feel through my hands that guides me to write. A spark to share my stories. Anticipation builds each hour

When the weekend finally arrives
