Act’s Up

When the curtains close

Your behind closed doors

The happiness simmers

The smile fades

The fame gone

The fake love disappears

No one around

Your quiet

You stare and wonder

What is it all for?

Is it just the act in me?

Can they not see the real me?

On stage its all love

All happiness

Roses and candies

balloons and confetti

The act keeps them near

When curtains close

Where are they?

Why, I fear?

Aloneness

Staring in the mirror

Cannot pretend with myself

With none

Behind that curtain

Who am I?

An act, a person…….

I love the nighttime

It is my me time

When my kids are asleep, Or away!

My creativity is awakened.

Ready with pen and paper

Ready to attack with my ideas, and there is many

Quiet, I can think in peace

F- Following my own lead, following my visions, my dreams, feeling powerful, facing myself

L- Learning and growing, letting go of the past, listening to my voice more often, loving myself

O- Observe everything around me, open my mind and my heart, and open to new and better ideas

W- Willing to do what it takes to achieve my dream, I have wisdom, wishful, working on a better life for my kids and myself, work hard, a woman that is worthy.

I know who I am and what I want in life

I will no longer accept anything less than what I deserve

Jungle

Too much going on

Not sure as to what I am seeing

Pinching, slapping myself

Is this a

Dream

Maybe reality

In this jungle

I feel free

Moving around, being me

Accepted

Is this life

I ask myself

Talking and chilling with

The animals

Friends or foes

I do not know

This jungle

Feel right, Safe

Yet scary

Am I a human?

Maybe a lion

Again, is this a

Dream, a reality

The jungle

Wild and free

No surprise

The jungle

Is just like

Chilling

Me and my new peps

No cares in
