Is your life today what you pictured a year ago?

The answer to this question would be a definitely no. This past year has been a long ride with some lost loves. Doing a lot of grieving. I can say honestly that I am working on my healing and trying to pick up the pieces. I did not think I would publish my books in a year, which is an excellent thing that happened over this last year. I am also working on other projects and thankful that I have the strength to focus on my dreams. I am hanging in there, though. I have learned a lot and learned to be calmer. Fix my emotions occasionally and get on with the day.

It’s been a journey this past year. Nothing that I would have even imagined happened in my life. It’s life, though.

My Saturday Night!!

My thoughts, My Saturday night. Writing!

Hello, this Saturday night is going quite well. Of course, I am writing and have gotten so much done. I love it when I can sit and concentrate on my writing. Just let the pen flow. I just started working on more chapters in my 2nd book, which is coming along great. I have been working on the short stories book, and the 1st one I started and forgot about the 2nd one, but tonight, the ideas are coming, and I am just writing and chilling. The hard part is a title for the book, yes, it is true no title yet, but I am thinking of some and writing them down. Hopefully, I will have one picked out soon.

I am wondering if I should start an outline for it; I do not know yet. I am doing mystery and urban fiction, and I think it will turn out great. I might share some parts from some of the books. Stay tuned.

Superpower!

I have so many that I would want. But I will share only a few.

The Superpower: Psychokinesis/Telekinesis

Having the superpower to move anything with your mind is cool. I would definitely love to have this superpower. Mind controlling is very cool indeed I’ll take that one too

Also, I would want Invisibility because I don’t want to be seen. This superpower is one that I really had. Straight Up. Power stealing is cool too!

Another Superpower: Teleport

Question: If you could teleport, where would you go? And why?

If I could teleport anywhere in the world, it would be to Paris. It is a place that I have always wanted to visit. It looks fantastic when I see it on TV, and I just picture myself there. It seems like a calm place. I have never been, so maybe it is, and maybe it is not. Still, I will want to visit. Visit some of the attractions and take a lot of damn pictures, and try the cuisine there, honesty I would try to do too much while there, lol. Paris is my dream destination. In my teens, I wanted to be a model and model in Paris, and then I wanted to live in Paris. A place I would like to visit with my family. A place I imagine to be fun-filled and an adventure. If I had teleport powers, I would have gone there instantly. That probably would be a week’s trip. Seems like a good scenery.

But of course, I will travel everywhere and often with this superpower. There are so many great places out there. LOL

I search for purpose, a grand design

Hoping that my destiny unveils 

I seek for love, a shining star

I yearn for someone to hold my hand

In the quiet of the night, I pray 

For a sign to light my way 

I search for answers in every place 

Hoping to find my rightful space 

Oh, the quest for purpose and love

A Write Night!

Hello my blog peeps. Tonight, I am in an okay mood and doing what I do best and that is getting my write on. Been slacking and behind my writing schedule lately so I feel like it’s a catch-up night. I have writing goals tonight that must be completed before I hit the bed.

So tonight, I want to get 5-6 chapters done. May seem like hard work but the pen is flowing with no problems, I am in a zone and love it. I got two chapters done then made dinner so its back at it. It is taking some time getting this book done, so I need to work hard and publish it soon.

Good ideas are in the air. Relaxing night so far.

Well, my blog peeps, homegirl got to get back to it. Goals are getting met tonight. Homegirl is focused. Get It Done!! Ms. Author here!
