Abundance of power, a force to be reckoned 
With love as the guide, they’ll never be threatened 

In times of hardship, strength stands tall 
Pushing forward, never to fall 
Courage takes hold, facing fear head-on 
With love in the heart, victory is won 

Abundance of blessings, with each passing day

Sometimes I wish I could be a people pleaser. Forever. Be what everyone wants me to be at all times. Sometimes I feel that way. On the other hand, I am tired of it. At my age and how I have been feeling these days I want to focus on my kids and myself. I feel like I have spent half of my life doing for others no matter what and have nothing to show for it. Nobody has or is doing the same for me. 50/50. Some people want you to jump and be there for them whenever, and they can care less about what is going on with you or how you are doing. It is all about what they can get out of you. Again, I am so tired of it. Feeling like if it is not about my kids or anything for them it is not for me. They are my main focus no matter what. At my age, I do need to get back to loving myself and doing better. 50/50. Sometimes I do wish life could be all about me, myself, and I. my wants and needs. There are times when I feel like I do not know who I am and what I really like when it comes to certain things. I have always been wrapped in other people’s lives and problems and what they needed. Here i am thinking life has passed me by, it’s all a blur and I am constantly trying to make things clearer. 50/50. The 50 percent of my life that was mine and the other 50 percent that was not. It is a 50/50 thing.

It conveys a message of grace

A gesture of tenderness, in every place

The meaning of the pink rose is clear

A sign of love and admiration, so dear

It speaks of joy and happiness

A symbol of elegance and loveliness

So, let the pink rose speak for you

What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?

The hardest personal goal that I have set for myself is becoming an author. I have always been a writer, writing poetry and short stories, but never put my work out there. Four years ago, I made that decision. I say it is a hard goal that I set because it is not easy. It takes time, dedication, passion, and consistency. Consistency to me is the hardest trying to make sure I make time for writing, editing, and designing since I self-publish. This is a hard personal goal due to all the steps involved. I want to be a good writer, tell stories that people can relate to and ones that they will love. I love my ability to use my imagination and creativity and do so freely. Though it is a hard process I am happy that I made that decision to become an author, I love writing and getting my ideas and thoughts out. A hard personal goal that I will continue to pursue.
