What activities do you lose yourself in?

The activity/hobby I do that I get lost in is writing. When I am in a creative groove, writing takes over. Sometimes I lose track of the time. Writing is a activity that soothes me. Weather I am writing poetry, my personal thoughts, in my journal, or for my books. I love to write. It brings me piece of mind and me writing is a way for me to vent since I am a loner (LOL).

Another one is music and dancing. With good music playing, a good playlist, I can get lost in music for hours. Just like writing, which is why I love and do both to escape the world sometimes.

It is good having a favorite activity that helps calm you and makes you happy. Especially on those bad days. To keep you busy when needed.

My middle name is Elaine. It is special to me because I use it as an Author and blogger pseudonym. I use the first three letters of my first name, and the last part is my middle name. I just decided to go with that name. I like it! It is also one of my aunt’s middle name. No other significance behind the name. Ray’Elaine!

Writing, Vibing, Hungry (LOL)

So, been writing like crazy today (Of Course, lol) and have not eaten anything in hours. I was really ignoring my growling stomach lol. I got to take a break soon to eat. Sometimes it is so hard to put the pen down. A good night of brainstorming, research, editing, and writing. I love nights like these. Where writing is fully taking over my day. Homegirl need a break. For sure

She is Hungry lol.

And now I am up late still writing and hungry LOL. So, I am about to cook some southern fried potatoes, Cajun Shrimp and some broccoli and cheese, while jamming to my music. Whew!! That is what I have a taste for. Yummy!!! Also want banana split, but that would be way too much this late (Greedy Me).

Then it will be back to writing. Got a few writing goals that need to be completed. A few more poems to write and finish a chapter or two for my book. Yeah BUSY. Get It Done! I am focused.

You ever had those days that were a blur? Just flowing through the day?

The third month of the year and I am feeling good. I feel like I am going in the right direction. Going to keep working on my craft and pushing myself to complete my goals and fulfill my dream.

It is also Women’s History Month!!!!

New month, new goals to set, fresh ideas to let out. Putting pen to paper all month getting things done. February went fast and it was an okay month, got some stuff done for my business and all three books that I am working on. Now time to move on to more better things and goals.

Excited for this month and going to take it step by step goal by goal. Get It Done!

Sometimes you just must remind yourself that you will succeed, you will win. You will overcome obstacles that are in your way.

Remind yourself to push hard every day and never give up. Keep pushing through it all, even if you must cry, scream, let it all out. Don’t give up.

Sometimes we have to talk to our inner selves and give some pep talks. Let ourselves know that all will be okay. Say you are strong and willing. Say you believe in your dreams, Say you have faith.
