A Break!

Do you need a break? From what?

Do I need a break? And what from? I like this question. I feel that I need a good long break from work and writing lately. I have been working a lot for the last couple of months, picking up extra shifts. I have also been sticking to a writing schedule, plus, of course, home life and taking care of everything. I am a busybody and sometimes don’t get enough rest. It would be nice to be alone for a weekend or maybe a week and just decompress.

I feel everyone deserves to step back from life for a while and take a break. Clear your mind, heart, and soul. Focus on your mental health. Just sit back with a good book in a nice location. Or being in your dream country or state. Maybe on the beach relaxing and enjoying your peace. Sounds so lovely! I have been thinking about stepping back for a while (Not too long) just to give my mind a break. Indeed, it has been hectic. Detox my mind, spirit, and body. Let go of all the negative; let go of what you cannot change.

Taking a break from the stresses of your life is okay. It’s best to work with a clear head and not worry about too much workload. Taking time for yourself is important. Self-care and Self-Love bring happiness.

Food, oh food, how I love thee
My heart skips a beat just to see any
From the crunch of chips to the sizzle of bacon
My love for you will never be forsaken
But, my love you are not always kind
For my greed for food is hard to confine
I devour you whole, with no self-restraint
Even if it means feeling sick and faint
Oh, greasy food, you are my weakness
My love for you knows no meekness
But I promise to love you in moderation
And not let my gluttony be my damnation
For you, my dear food, are a delight
And I’ll love you with all my might
From the sweet to the savory, you are my heart’s desire
And I’ll cherish you, Food, oh Food forever!

A Spark!

A spark I feel through my mind and soul. A spark that craves my attention. Spark lit that gives life. A spark I feel through my hands that guides me to write. A spark to share my stories. A spark I feel to be creative. A great spark to get the ideas flowing and before I know it, I am writing away, in a zone. A spark to make it come alive, a spark to the pen and paper. a spark that speaks volumes inside of me, to inspire.  The spark lit under me to keep me going this spark that helps with my passion for writing. Lost in the maze of life’s design 

I search for purpose, a grand design 

I wander through the winding trails 

Hoping that my destiny unveils 

I seek for love, a shining star 

To guide me from the shadows afar 

I yearn for someone to hold my hand 

And lead me to the promised land 

In the quiet of the night, I pray 

For a sign to light my way 

I search for answers in every place 

Hoping to find my rightful space 

Oh, the quest for purpose and love 

A journey that’s always challenging to prove 

But I’ll keep searching, never giving up 

For I know someday, I’ll find my luck

In the garden, dark and deep

Where shadows dance and secrets keep

There blooms a rose of rarest kind

Its petals black as moonless night

Its beauty shrouded in mystery

A symbol of love and history

The black rose stands alone and proud

Defying norms and breaking ground

For some, it represents farewell

A final goodbye, a mournful knell

But for others, it’s a symbol of hope

A reminder to never give up the rope

So, let the black rose bloom and thrive

Its darkness a reminder to strive

For even in the darkest hour

There’s beauty in the blackest flower.

The green butterfly is rare 

Its beauty is beyond compare 

A scarce sight 

Its wings, a work of art 

A masterpiece of nature’s heart 

The green butterfly, a symbol of new life 

Of transformation, free of strife 

A reminder that we, too, can change 

And in the end, beauty can remain 

If you see a green butterfly 

Take a moment to pause and sigh 

For it is a gift from the divine

Love or Lust??

Crazy: Love, Lust


Hello everyone,

Y’all know that feeling. The feeling of being in love or you think you are. You’re in the stage of feeling all the emotions like all of them. You don’t like them or their ways; everything irritates you. You question everything, wondering if you made the right decision or if it is LUST. Is it real, or are they using you, or are you using them? What is it? You love them, you hate them sometimes need space from each other. I call it the test phase where both parties like to test each other and push buttons and get reactions.

Smh but that’s what happens when you are really not sure if it’s love or lust or if it’s the person you really want. Sometimes it can be just sex that keep two people together, there is no real love between them. Some might think so but NO. Why do we put ourselves in situations like this? If it is real love, it will not hurt you, make you feel low and sad, or have you second-guessing yourself. I’m just saying this love thang can be Crazy. Seriously 😂

Am I the only one who thinks so? I get there will be ups and downs in relationships, but if they are constant and you feel stuck, it’s too much to deal with, or you feel like you both cannot get on better terms, LEAVE. I feel a person should not settle or put up with BS just to not be or feel alone. What do you guys think? Do you choose love or lust?
